Inspired by this video on The Storque, I’ve spent most of my morning making boxes for packaging my more fragile pieces of jewellery. When I lived in Canada, shipping in boxes was prohibitively expensive, but now that I’ve moved to France, my envelopes can be as thick as they want. So I’ve used some thick, unbleached paper grocery bags — reinforced with a bit of cardboard from an empty box of shortbeard, and decorated with some stickers I had from childhood — to make fantastic little recycled boxes. They’re fun and I’m looking forward to using them!
