By making your own pizza you can reduce packaging waste. Besides, kids love pizza and making your own means that you control the ingredients, a perfect opportunity to sneak in some healthy extras like whole wheat, broccoli and spinach.
1 cup all-purpose flour (or substitute with whole wheat flour)
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2/3 cup milk
Preheat oven to 425 F and grease a pizza pan or cookie sheet with sides. Mix flour, salt, oregano, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, eggs and milk together and pour into a pizza pan or cookie sheet. Tilt pan so batter covers it evenly. Bake approximately 12-15 minutes, just until crust is golden brown.
Add sauce, cheese and toppings of your choice and bake until cheese melts.
