How did you get started in your chosen craft?
I have been sewing for 15 years. But I began to enjoy myself when I made my first rag doll for my children. I was surprised with the popularity of this doll! She was not perfect, but children liked her very much!

The magic for me then began. I discovered quilts and I liked recycling fabrics in order to fabricate colored blankets! One thing leading to another, the collection La Chiffonnière was born! Quilts, rag dolls, plushes and other amusements completed it.

How did you make your craft or etsy store eco friendly?
I use as much as possible left over fabrics that I recover from fashion designers.

Why did you join the EcoEtsy Team?
I joined the team EcoEtsy because they advocate the values that are most important to me. I am happy to see that I am not the only one to create in an ecological way! I like sharing with the other members, they are fantastic.

Where do you get your ideas / inspiration?
The children and their youthful happiness inspire me enormously; the available material and my intuitions do the rest…

Which piece is your current favourite?
The yarn wig is my favourite! Smiles and pleasures are guaranteed! The children are adorable with this on their heads; they prove to us that in life, the most important thing is to laugh!

What do you do when you are not crafting?
When I am not working, I enjoy nature and I spend time with my family.

What is the most eco-friendly purchase you have made?
Since I use only biodegradable products for the maintenance of the house, I am very happy!!!! I choose products made in Quebec. But I am also happy to use washable cloth pads for more than 2 years, they are so comfortable! You will find on Etsy a bunch of very attractive models! To try it is to adopt it!
