“Handmade for Earth Day”
Earth Day Silent Auction 2010

WHAT: Handmade for Earth Day Silent Auction sponsored by Team EcoEtsy will feature t-shirt bags filled with eco-goodies that Team EcoEtsy members donated for six different categories listed below. A bidder will be able to bid on as many categories as they want.

WHY: The proceeds from the auction will be donated to support environmental organizations that work tirelessly to preserve the Earth.

WHEN: The auction will begin on Monday, April 19, 2010 and end on Monday, May 2, 2010. The winners will be announced on Monday, May 3, 2010.

WHO: Auction is open worldwide.

WHERE: The auction page will be posted right here, on the team’s blog on April 19, 2010 where bidders can post their bids in the comment section for different bags of eco-goodies.

DONATIONS: We have some wonderful donations so far!

PROMO: The event will be as successful as how much we promote about the event. If you blog, please blog about the Earth Day auction. Grab the auction badge from the sidebar and add it to your blog or your website. Spread the word about the auction. More participants and bidders, the better! If you are on facebook, post it on your wall, and/or go to the team’s page and share the event with your friends and fans. If you are on Twitter, tweet about the auction regularly. We are counting on the team members to promote. Proudly share the event that you are part of and tell others about it.

ORGANIZATIONS: We are voting on which  organization to donate to. The result from the vote will be posted when auction starts.

  1. Thanks for the cardboard roll pot idea. I think I will prefer this to newspaper.
    I gave everyone seed packets and garden gloves tied in paper ribbon at their place at our Easter table.
