This is wonderful. I have been planting seeds in toilet roll tubes for years but I never thought to snip the ends and fold them over to create a base. Thanks!

What a great tutorial! I'm a Master Gardener for the Kansas State University Extension office and am teaching a class about gardening on a shoestring. I plan to add this tip to my list of ideas on reusing what we have rather than defaulting to consumerism. Thanks so much!
