Themed Nomination Winners – Treasures from the Sewing Basket

zJayne nominated this incredible cuff made by Greenbelts. I have to agree with her that it is quite an eye catcher. If you take a look at the other photos of it in Greenbelt’s Etsy shop you will notice the amazing size of this beautiful vintage button. It is a truly unique piece.

This charming lichen wrist pincushion was made from wool and embroidered by Ottoman – perfect for designers who work on a dress form. Thanks to Cat from Uncorked for this great nomination.

This is something straight out of a sewing basket and such a super cute idea.  Tape measure and button  flower brooch has been made by o’Blue and suggested by KinderCotton.

Thank-you all for playing with me this past month. I enjoy my turn hosting this feature very much and look forward to receiving all your amazing nominations each week.

See you in August!

  3. This was a great theme since we have so many seamstresses and upcyclers. Thanks for your creative topics for theme nominations this month! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us in August!

Love the lichen pincushion. I’m always toying with the idea of strapping one on my wrist.
