If you are a Team Eco Etsy member – and unless you’ve been away from the computer last few weeks – you know that I am speaking at Martha Stewart’s Dreamers into Doers Annual Conference on March 6th.

Yeah, I am! Booyah!!

And trust me, this is a HUGE honor and an incredible opportunity for a handmade team to speak at Martha Stewart’s company, Omnimedia.

I mean, we’re talking M.A.R.T.H.A… S.T.E.W.A.R.T!!!

What will I talk about?

“How to green your business and save money”

And  the fact that Omnimedia wants to include a workshop about how to be eco-friendly in your busines is more amazing than being invited. I mean, how powerful is that message in itself??

WHAT IS DREAMERS INTO DOERS?

Dreamers into Doers is an online,  free membership driven group created by Omnimedia. But an onsite event is held annually at the Omnimedia headquarter in NYC where luckiest of lucky 80 winners – out of 10,000 applicants – get to network, attend workshops on how to manage their businesses, watch the taping of the Martha Stewart show, meet Martha and spend awe-inspiring (my new favorite word) two days get coached about their businesses.

Did I mention they only choose 80 business owners out of over 10,000 who apply? What is that in percentage, like less than 1%!

And I am going to hold a 45 minute workshop for these smart and creative business owners….in front of the room, behind a podium!

*GULP!*

How unbelievable is this opportunity, right?

Not only am I invited by Martha Stewart’s Omnimedia company but I will be teaching business owners, entrepreneurs, on why and how greening their businesses are important. I think she is “spot-on” and has the finger on the pulse of what’s really important.

THANK YOU, ETSY & TEAM ECO ETSY

This awesome opportunity couldn’t’ have been possible without the help of Etsy and Team Eco Etsy. While I’d like to think I am that charismatic, I firmly believe without the amazing continuous work of team members and our commitment to preserving the environment, I wouldn’t have been recommended by Etsy and have gotten the phone call from Omnimedia.

Without your dedication and support, it would be impossible to create a smart presentation or the green swag bag I will be delivering.

I am a very lucky captain and I have all of you to thank for the awesome opportunity!

The the next time I post about the team news, I can’t wait to tell you how the event went and what warm welcome I’ve received. And how we helped 80+ business owners green their businesses. Awesomeness!!

Here is a list of Team Eco Etsy members who – so far – have contributed to my speaking engagement.

I waited until this day, full of green work, had quieted down to read this post, because for some reason, I knew it was important..
Whoa, it sure is. Karen, all the strength and confidence on this journey to you, this is what I will be thinking about. Part of me was teared up and part of me a rock with this read.
Most importantly, I want to say thank you, for standing up strong and pushing through when the table wobbles.. for all the love shared and wisdom beyond the years of time.
Now go show them how it is done.

Thank you Jennifer for your kind words and confidence in me. It is an awesome opportunity to send a message out to business owners, small and large, about the benefits of taking care of the planet. I will do my best to make sure they get the message.

Thank you!

Oh, this experience will top all of my experience as a greenie. Well, it’s right up there with seeing my first real tomato growing on my tomato vines years ago…..that I actually grew something out of earth, that I can nourish my family with… :)

No, quiet the contrary. I am proud of this team for being the earth stewart for this opportunity. Without the awesome green work by the members – caring for the planet – this recognition wouldn’t have happened.

So we ALL deserve this honor.

Thank YOU!!

You will be fabulous, there is no doubt about that! And if you get nervous, just remember the old Brady Bunch episode when Marsha imagines her driver instructor in his underwear to calm her nerves!

O.M.G.!!! I totally remember that episode! You made my day. That is such a great advice.

*Imagining all the business people in their undies………and LMAO!!*
