Simplify in the New Year {finds}

kaleidoscope / star reversible – - table runner by simpledream2

 Happy New Year!!  Simplifying is always on my list of improvements… changes to make.  From time to time, life gets in the way and I find myself distracted, but I always come back to doing my best to simplify.  The new year is a wonderful reminder and time to refocus.  What better way to do that than picking perfect pieces?  Ones that represent who you are and what you believe in and that are also lovingly made by hand. Consciously choose.  This fits so perfectly with my finds this month.  This table runner speaks… is a great conversation piece and was found in our Eco Etsy team.  It has character, color and will warm any room (oh and it’s double sided).  Made with the environment in mind from scraps from other projects.

 Upcycled sheet music envelopes by swirlyarts

This simple recycled music page is a thoughtful way to send a note.  Giving new life to old music, say hey, thank you, write a love note… support, simplify.  Get back to the basics.  What a great year it will be.  See? That’s it.  Simple right?  Bonne Annee’!!

Plans to simplify this year?  Share!  We’d love to hear from you.

  1. I think that simplify should be my mantra this year, starting with building a sensible routine and having reasonable goals.
    Love the quilted table runner. it reminds me of the lovely quilts we have from my mother in law.
