Check the team page on Etsy to make sure your shop’s name is on the list. If not, please contact one of the leaders above so that she can add you to the team’s roster.
Our Mission:
Our members are dedicated to protecting our planet by utilizing methods to reduce carbon print in managing our businesses and leading our personal lives in the most eco-friendly manner. We are just as determined to use recycled materials in our creations as we are about recycling packaging materials. We take the safety of the environment in mind in the way that we manage our businesses and create our items. We strive to grow as a team that focuses on promoting eco-living in our personal lives as well as in our businesses and educating others about the importance of being environmentally responsible.
Participation
It’s important to stay active in order to receive the most benefit from being a member of EcoEtsy. Members will participate in team events, sales, contests, meetings, twitter chats, and etc. You can share tips on how we can help promote a greener way of life on our blog, and help raise money to donate to charities and various organizations that are dedicated to earth-friendly practices. Along with group-wide events, members have many options for ways in which they can act on their own to contribute to the team, which is expected of all members in some form or another. If you want to be informed of team events, member news, EcoEtsy news, and member sales, it is important that you stay active in the team and participate in group discussions.
There are many ways to stay informed and here is a list of links where you can find out everything about what’s going on with the team.
Google Group – All members are required to join this group. You have to set up your membership to receive at least a ‘daily digest’ so that you can receive communications from the team.
Blog – be an e-mail subscriber so that you can receive e-mails when there are new posts.
Facebook Page – ‘like’ us!
Twitter – follow us!
Pinterest – follow our pins!
Flickr Group -post your latest pictures of your items. (You can use your Yahoo ID to sign into Flickr)

Continued MembershipÂ
You are not obligated to stay a member of the team for any length of time. If you should decide that this team is not for you or feel that you do not have the time to contribute to the team, please contact Lori and she will remove you from the team roster and Google Group.
In order to keep our team active and manageable, we will be requiring team members to re-sign. What this means is that every six months, we will be asking all members if they still want to be an active team member. If you do not respond within the allotted time specified in the post, you will automatically be removed from the roster and Yahoo group, and you will no longer be part of the team. For this reason, be sure to keep up with posts on the Google Group so that you don’t miss these important threads.
General participation is key to the success of a street team. The more active and dedicated members we have, the more positive results our team will see. A great successful team is our goal. Promoting a greener way of life is our goal. By joining forces, we can make a difference.
